The Missouri Rural Health Association has launched a new community platform to allow collaboration with peers to share strategic advice, solve challenges and develop new approaches. MRHA’s new platform also allows access to a plethora of resources, news and funding opportunities. MRHA’s communication pipeline provides individuals and communities with information and tools to understand health care issues and their role in shaping and improving their community. Registration now open: Missouri Rural Behavioral Health Summit
The summit, in partnership with MRHA and the Missouri Behavioral Health Council, will take place June 15, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn and Expo Center in Columbia, MO. This event is designed to bring rural communities together to discuss behavioral health topics to provide training, tools, and engagement in different areas, including suicide prevention, trauma informed practices, substance use prevention and addressing the issues with access and workforce in the rural communities.
