Call for Presentations: 2025 Rural Health Workforce Conference
The Missouri Rural Health Association in collaboration with the University of Missouri School of Medicine invite proposals for presentations, workshops, and panel discussions that align with our conference theme and tracks while delivering on the stated global learning outcomes listed below. Share your expertise, innovative practices, and research findings to contribute to the growth and development of Missouri’s rural health workforce.
Theme:
Revitalizing Workplace Culture for Rural Healthcare Professionals through:
- Growth: Strategies for expanding and developing the rural health workforce.
- Innovation: Implementing cutting-edge approaches and technologies in developing, recruiting and retaining a high quality rural health workforce.
- Renewal: Techniques for enhancing workplace culture, morale, and retention among rural healthcare professionals.

Global Learning Outcomes:
- Participants will self-report increased knowledge in core topic areas, including interprofessional education, behavioral health integration, social determinants of health, cultural and linguistic competency, practice transformation, and the use of telehealth technology.
- Participants will gain increased confidence in their ability to recruit and retain rural healthcare professionals using the strategies presented.
- Participants will enhance their confidence in effectively teaching rural healthcare students.
- Participants will improve their ability to identify and address gaps in rural healthcare workforce development.
Submission Guidelines:
- Proposal submission deadline: September 1, 2024
- Proposals should include:

- Presenter(s) name and affiliation
- Brief abstract (250 words maximum)
- Learning objectives
- How the Global Learning Objectives will be met
- Target audience
- Preferred track (growth, innovation, renewal)
